At just over a year and a half ago my car was diagnosed by my local main dealer with piston slap, the chaps there said the car should be fine and to just let it warm up before driving.I i took there advice and didn't drive the car hard, ive serviced it properly but the knocking that used to go away once the car was warm has slowly got worse and i can now hear it all the time especially at low revs i also get a small amount of blue smoke on startup.

Im not bothered about big bhp figures im just looking for an engine thats strong and reliable. What options would you guys advise, ive heard David @ api mentioned allot on here.
