Default missfire/hesitation

hi all, havin a problem with missfire. wen on full or near full throttle in any gear car missfires and pops through the exhaust, only for a second then its ok. doesnt do it all the time tho. changed the plugs and it made a bit of difference, cud it also be the boost solenoid?? seen a few posts about this, where abouts under bonnet is it? shall i try cleanin it? anythin else i can try, need it sorted quick as i need to sell car. thanks all.

With a induction kit and a full decat mine pops thru the gear change, this is normal with these mods , as for the miss fire could be plugs or coil packs

The boost solenoid is bolted to the front of the drivers side strut

ok, cleaned it but no difference, missfire only happens wen the engine is hot. cud it be plugs, only changed them the other month. wot else cud it be???

been told its the coil pack, hope another 1 sorts it, new or second hand? that the question, 2nd hand cud also be broke.

It could well be a coil pack and I wouldn't go for secondhand ones.

The next problem you have is that you have 4 of them (1 per cylinder) & if one has gone then the others won't be far behind.

I have four good coil packs which I replaced with new ones last week. However I still have exactly the same error coming up on the OBU so I am confident they aren't faulty. They are mint looking and are very clean with no cracks on the resin or elsewhere.

Not sure if they are the same as yours, but if they are and you want to spend less than £300 which is how much they cost for 4 new ones send me a message.

ive seen a set of four brand new coil packs on ebay for 195 + postage. still on there today.

david api engines they are £250 and you know they will work i had a set last month ace.
