New exhaust for MY99 STi Wagon
The wifes wagon failed MOT due to exhaust blowing in 3 places, down pipe, centre and back box! Consistent then
Len at Subaru4you patched it up to pass the MOT but it is essentially dead. My Type R has a full Scoobysport system from years back and I think it is superb but it would seem SS have disappears (web site says its going in a different direction). As such a genuine SS system is out of the running.
I have the old cat downpipe from the Type R which to cut cost will be stuck on the wagon until funds allow a sport cat downpipe (dont want to go full de-cat on this car). But i still need to decide what centre section and back box to go for.
I believe Hayward and Scott actually made the old SS systems (rolled tail pipe) and I am tempted to go with one of their centre and rear pipes. Plan to stay at 2.5" as running standard VF28 turbo.
Any other recommendations that are not hugely pricey? Need to sort it out before 29.04.08 really as that's when its back in for a new centre diff
