Default acceleration problems

Hi all,

I have a 1995 wrx import, when i go to accelerate hard it seems to missfire and jerk when accelerating, if i just build up the revs gradually it seems ok its only when i put my foot to the floor that i get the problems, if anyone has any info and ideas on this it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Dan.

You may be hitting boost cut. Do you have a boost guage fitted and if so, what is it reading?
It could also be a duff plug or coilpack but without driving the car it is very difficult to be more specific.

95 import you have, so you should have the 3 port boost solenoid like me

cleaning it seems to be one of the standard answers to boost questions ??
