Default Pistons?

Hi all, my v4 sti's engine is in need of an engine rebuild and i've had some very good quotes for it, but im a bit confused about which conrods and pistons to put in the new rebuild?
Also am i best buying my parts from the U.K or the U.S??

Same question I'm chewing over and at the moment dollar prices look very cheap.

Cdf racing based in this country are doing Wiseco/eagle combo for £500.

That's good. I was looking at that same combo which is all over ebay.com at the moment (and JE/Eagle, CP/Eagle) and although you'd get it over here for around £400, you'd get clobbered for duty and VAT which would bring it nearer £500.
