Question water injection

hi . looked at a sti version 7 import at weekend and noticedbit had water injection switch can somebody tell me how it works and where do you put the water .( sorry i come across as a bit thick) cheers.

sprays water onto your intercooler, cooling the air. cooler air = more power in a nutshell. use it when giving it stacks

Cooler air is more condensed, hence more oxygen to burn.

Think it can also spray into the inlet manifold, not just onto the intercooler - depends upon the set up.

Has to be mapped in to get the full benefits I believe.

It's an intercooler spray, it's pants, and if you look for it whilst driving fast enough to need it you'll crash....

Never noticed any difference with it so ignored it !

P.S. Mine is UK car, tank is in the boot on the drivers side, I use it as my washer bottle now !
