Cheers,

were you still running the standard turbo and boost pressure...I'm assuming you are and its an import with a TD05?

On my old turbo and engine spec I was running a twin dump downpipe, I was running 1.6 bar and did get some boost creep in 5th gear would always overboost to 1.7bar.
New turbo with bell mouth downpipe running 1.8 bar and no boost creep at all but not had it long on this downpipe so will test a little a longer before I can say for sure.

It was a VF22 hybrid called an md195s, made by turbo dynamics.

now hugly familiar with that version, was it prone to creep? did you run it on the bell mouth and if so did it reduce or eliminate the creep?

sorry, lots of questions; I'm upgrading my system to 3" and have accidentally brought a magnex twin dump (my fault I didn't ask the right questions!), and want to know if I should fit it or sell it on and buy an open neck.

Don't think it was prone to creep as I was also running a silicone inlet pipe and did not get any surge. Never ran it on the bell mouth as I changed everything together, so do not know if it would have helped.
The car was at 389 bhp and 363 lbft of torque on the old spec and this was on the twin dump downpipe, and to be honest I was happy with the way it ran.

thanks Banny, I'm running one of AndyF's 18g's so not really prone to surge...I just want to avoid fitting it and then replacing it because its caused issues.
