Hi, I have got a question from one of my friends

He normally buys his methanol from jennychem, but he has found another person who sells it for around half the price. he was told this cheaper stuff is virgin grade, it came from a 1000L tank and put into 25L drums that are kepted outside. the person is using it for bio fuel

the only broblem is that the car feels slower.

the knock on the apexi commander and knocklink is the same with the cheap stuff compaired to the jennychem meth.

could this be down to....

1) the cheap methanol is not as good (water / air got in etc)
2) the warmer weather (had map on the 25th march this year)
3) getting use to the power, though he drives in low boost more

or anything else??
