Sill protection when on axle stands?
What does everyone use between the sills and axle stands? Currently using some very high tec blocks of wood that I have to replace after every use as they crack!

Cool anywhere specifically front and back? Ive been told you can use the section where the from wishbone connects to the chassis (pretty much underneath the rear of the front wheel arch if that makes sense?

Oh dear, hope you like egg..
You can use the inner sill. I use a block of wood or a piece of hard rubber, you just need to check the under seal is still intact after..
To lift the front end (in one) there's a square jack plate in the middle of the sub frame. At the rear, under the rear diff, protected ideally.

Cool, thats the two jacking points ive been using. Just have to find somewhere round the back to prop it up
Ive seen people using alloy wheels on their side as axel stands, that scares me!

Nice thread resurrection. But in fact my car has been on stands in these locations since this post until last weekend!
