What Fuel?
I don't use octane boosters, many do though. For fuel its got to be V power or Tesco 99 as far as I'm concerned. I've had my MY99 mapped for V power or Tesco 99. The higher octane rating, put simply, helps to deliver higher bhp when having an engine mapped. If you are running a standard spec then any super unleaded will be fine. In a UK spec car you can use 95, but in my opinion you would be better with super.
A word of advise, stay away from BP Ultimate it causes det and you don't want that.

vpower or tesco 99 for me as the car is mapped for it.
reason being it allows the engine to develop more power due to increased octane.
before mapping i used bp ultimate once and to be honest the car ran crap,it was jerky and not very responsive.

Allows you to run more ignition advance, means you can ignite the fuel with the piston that bit closer to the roof of the chamber, you run the risk of pre ignition[det] if you go too close, but the higher the octane the more stable the fuel is against this.
So you get more bang for your buck basically
And never ever run a scoob on bp ultimate, they really hate that fuel as i found out when i first bought her, she just wouldn't boost properly.
Vpower or tesco99 all the way.
