boost level

Default boost level

Hya,

I have just bought an sti type r version 3, could anybody tell me what the boost level as standard, I think mine is boosting to 0.8 bar.

Hya,

Thanks alot, just expected a little more as my mates sti boost to 1.1 but it is a version 5 so probably the reason.

0.8 bar sounds very low as that is what my wrx produces ,i'm sure it should be about 1bar or more

Thats what I thought, I had a wrx and that was 0.8bar and my mates sti is 1.1bar but like I said it is a version 5.

pretty sure the sti boost is 13.64psi (1.1 bar) from the first production STIs (which is from version 3 onwards)

13.64 psi is not 1.1 bar you have miss calculated your figures

13.64psi is actually 0.94 bar

14.5 psi is 1.0 bar

15.9 psi is 1.1 bar

early wrx was 0.8 bar 11.8 psi not sure what sti ver 3 should be .

I have a version 3 sti, it reads between 1 - 1.1 bar on the gauge.
