my 99 turbo 2000 is going in next week for a few upgrades, vf35 sti top mount etc and i have an apexi power fc here to get mapped by andy forrest too, i was thinking though should i maybe go the extra few hundred and go for a simtek instead or should i not bother at this power level(approx 330 or so)

i know its better for reliability, just wondering if its worth the extra dough, as if going to do it i need to do it now rather than a years time and have to pay for unit plus mapping all over again

how does the simtek unit fair against the likes of an apexi, is it a much better unit?

I have one on mine........... but it's not easy to give a recommendation if it better/worse than another...

it works for me (no doubt another would)

but I like the fact that it has

2 maps
Anti Lag
Launch Control...

and I like dabling with data logging....

(Don't know what it all means though)
