Default wrx 2.5 ppp

Hi.I am thinking of fitting ppp to my 07 wagon 2.5wrx.Just wondering if anyone has had this done and whether it makes much difference?I have had the car for a few months and it is superb but it could do with a bit more power.Cheers.Nick

If you're worried about warranty, go with PPP, if not, go aftermarket mods as you'll get more bang for your bucks.

I would like to keep warranty so will probably go with ppp.I have heard differing reports, some saying it makes a big difference others are not so impressed.I also wondered how much louder it is as I dont want a chav mobile.

I bought other parts (more performance) during warranty but that was from dealer and I became well known there - so it was safe.

Go PPP, you may get a decent shock from the improvement, thing is not all engines are the same (even same model), some produce more out of the box than others (to do with manufacturing processes, etc). I would expect you to get 30-40 more bhp and torque, dont quote me on that though as I've not looked at the 2.5L PPP package, I only knew the 2L PPP setup but now I've got a 2.5 with lots of custom kit, nothing Prodrive.

The note you will get will be sporty but not to bad inside the car, not like Blitz etc - sounds about what you need from your response.

I have PPP on my 06 Wagon 2.5 WRX. It came with it. The guy fitted it after he bought it. I also drove a standard one and dismissed it in favour of a SEAT Cupra R as it was more fun. I then found and drove a PPP model. What a difference complete change in car. I bought it immediately. Trouble is I want more now! Have fun.
