Default powder coating inlet manifold

am just starting to rebuild an sti engine, the inlet manifold has suffered from extensive peeling of the red paint, i am wanting to get this powder coated to revive it, has any1 else dun this or is it sumfing that ppl steer clear from doing?

you can get the standard finish paint, called VHT crinkle finish

use a acid etch primer, and this stuff, and it will look as good as new

had my inlet manifold powder coated in electric blue,looks the dogs danglers.contact central blast cleaning in banbury 01295 278233

am really interested to know wot the finish is like and if it is likely to go scabby or if it stands up against the heat ec.

had mine powder coated last year in yellow still looks mint, a word of warning though make sure they mask it up properly as i had an engine failure when they didnt mask it properly & it was full of grit

My aftermarket inlet manifold was powder coated by paul at Zenperformance

that does look good chum
...but you need to get a fiddler and straighten the fins in yer intercooler
....must be pretty inefficient there by the looks of it!
