Default Is it safe???

Will be having my hybrid TD04 replaced with a VF34 soon,on my 02 WRX.Have all the supporting mods and so far,the car has been remapped. However,i wont have the opportunity to remap the car with the new turbo, for a few weeks...Will this be safe and if not,why not.If it is,what precautions will i have to take to avoid any long term damage?.Cheers

My mate had his engine rebuilt and had a TD05 18g fitted. Chy at pennine Subaru removed some pipes so the car made no boost whilst it was being run in. Once run in it went back for a remap with no problems.

tbh i wouldn't even risk it, just drive it on the existing turbo untill the time of map, saves risking it
