fitting a z4 got a problem

my carpet seems pretty stuck down how do i pull it up.from the side near the door or from up in the footwell???

There is a black plastic grommet on the carpet far left that sort of screws it down.

There maybe another on the top right as well normaly a good tug gets them out anyway
