Default Another cold start issue

I have a 1996 wrx import and for the first 6 minutes while it's warming up to operating temperature with light driving the car feels like it is hesitating (seeking revs). Once it is warmed up it's fine smooth as glass. Spark plugs replaced only 5 months ago at last service no coil pack issues no CEL coming on run it on v power plenty of oil 10 w 60 castrol edge oil pressure fine and the MAF sensor is ok as the car stalls when disconnected and the fuel pump sounds ok as it whirs and primes when the ignition is turned on..

What could it be anyone??? help

Have you driven any others, is it definatley different to others. I've had 2 wrx's and presently got a 95 STI, they have all felt very lumpy till warm. General consensus is warm them up on the drive for at least 5 mins, if this isn't possible don't go over 3000 revs till it is at proper operating temp.

Posible air leak! (something expands when warm???) I had the same problem and it turned out to be the inlet leaking where it joins the block. Hope that helps
