Default Max boost from TD04

Hi all, can a TD04 handle 1.1 bar and if so would this be any stress on the standard pump and injectors of a V3 wagon. Thanks

Most TD04s are mapped to around 1.3-4bar so I'd imagine 1.1bar would be alright. But personally I'd run no more than 1bar and invest in getting it mapped to run higher boost.

would handle 1.2 bar,but as suggested already you would need to get it mapped to benefit

My TD04 ran at 1.4bar (gauge actually read 1.5..) for ~14k miles no problem. When I changed it the a VF35 the td04 was in tip-top condition..

During recent mapping session Andy F said my TD04 was hitting 1.35bar boost, and at 2600rpm!

Top info guys thanks, we are all agreed im going to crank it to the max then. I read on AF's site to utilise as much power from as small a turbo as possible, and as its only a daily drive im reluctant to start changing/upgrading any more bits at the moment. Cheers
