for starters it shouldn't be running 1.5bar.
I am sure we have had plenty of email communications regarding why it may be achieving that level of boost.
I wouldn't be suprised if it's detting at that level as it's only mapped to 1.1bar. Even mapping a carfrom 1.1bar to 1.35bar requires a fair amount of timing mods to prevent det.

Rather then get them to rolling road it I would get them to solve why it's boosting so high. The Intercooler may cause it to boost a little higher but not 0.4bar !!!!!

Things to check are boost plumbing all present and correct, with restrictor in place. Actuator Rod not over-tightened (some cars seem to come over from Japan with this as tight as can physically be had).
And the correct Map sensor for car i.e not a 97> one as this would give incorrect reading and hence possble overboost.

If everything appears present and correct, then reduce the restrictor size down to 'say' 1.5mm. But I'd be suprised if the issue wasn't due to something elsewhere.

Just read through some of your old PM's to me....
Previously you were not getting 1.1bar. Now you say you are getting 1.5bar.

Something very strange going on here with your setup......

what have you done to jump for <1.1bar to 1.5bar.

Are your boost pipes as per below, and does your map sensor look like the item on the left of the picture.

scott had to try every thing to get it to go up to 1 bar and could only get it with poping and banging ,then boost would go back to 0.7 as you know ,replaced spark plug, coilpacks, all the boost sensor but with no joy,
adjusted the actuator arm enough times to up the boost was then thinking i mite of had a wiring loom problem so i booked it into powerstation,
did a last check of the pipes so i would not look a wally,as my hand touched the vacuum pipe from the fuel regulater it seemed wobley what had happend was the end of the little pipe that you cant see under the bigger pipe had worked loose some how
fitted another pipe (not a easy job)went for a spin hopeing as i have done many a time and out the corner of my eye 1 bar without even trying, give it some more in next gear and 1.5 happy or what,
have driven for a few days to see if problem has gone and the car seems ok but then im thinking 1.5 that is a bit high ,have adjusted the actuator back so it is not so tight and see what that does,

all the parts are as the photo
thanks matt

reset the ecu and undone the actuator arm by 3 turns, now im getting 1.3 for a bit and then a steady 1.1/1.2 bar ,that shouild be a bit saferuntil i get it on the rollers,
if any thing its going better now more of a thump of power and the back wheels brack free
