How Can I Tell What Version and Model The Heads Are From?
Hi guys,
In digging around my mates garage we've found a set of heads from a Impreza. Thing is we've no idea what model WRX or STi how can we tell the difference?
Also, he can't remember if they are Version 3,4,5 etc... he thinks they are from a Import 98 IMpreza he broke but not sure, any way to check that out?

Those are V3\V4 heads. Unable to see if they are STi or not. But if they are STi, the lifters should look solid, and on a WRX you can clearly see the shim on the top of the lifter.
