Default Turbo coolent hose replacement

I noticed today I had a split in the coolent hose that comes from the header tank to the turbo so I removed the hose as it was brittle and knackered. When I did this coolent pissed out of the turbo where the hose was connected I'd say about 1/2 a pints worth.

Its just had a full 30k service so has clean coolent/anti freeze.

My question is once Ive replaced the hose can I just top up the water? Anything to lookout for, airblocks?

Cheers

When topping up - do it very slowly to avoid airblocks, whilst doing this you will need to squeeze both rad pipe's - you should see any air bubbles pop from the header tank , thats about it really ..... keep doing it till the water warms up

DON'T top up with water, water and 'anti-freeze' in a 50/50 mix....
