Throttle from the engine bay
Hay guys,
Any chance someone could post a pic of where the butterfly valve thingy is under the bonnet (for a blobeye wrx if that makes any difference, im guessing not) so i can rev the engine without being in the car?
I have a horrible tapping noise when the car is cold, and ive searched the forums and found it could be one of many common problems but need to see if i can work out where its coming from outside the car as apposed to inside (cos i cant really hear it with the window down, but can with it up)
Its not due a service until May but i might take it to the local specialist early to get it all checked out anyway.
Cheers in advance
Kris

"slam pannel by your knee's" Intercooler in front of you, You'll c the bit that connects the intercooler to the inlet manifold. It's on the right hand side of that connecting bit. Follow your cable if you cant find it

Ok, mine aint an STi and ive clearly robbed the image from the interweb, but i went to look at my engine just now and this was the only thing that looked "cable type thingy to do some engine stuff" - would that be it?
