Default AVC-R Help please

Hi Guys, Where does the unit pick it's speed signal up from? As my avc-r seems to be jumping around! like this morning it peaked at 133mph in FIRST!!!!

My normal speedo is spot on! to the exact mph according to tom tom.

Any help much appreciated

Craig

I think it picks it up from a sensor on the gearbox if memory serves. The signal is then routed to the AVC-r via the ECU.

So, could be a fault with the sensor, wiring or with the ecu. Others will know for sure. Wouldn't have thought it would be anything to worry about.

yeah it's all wired up fine. Tested all my conections and all seem to be fine. I've taken the clocks/speedo out and looked behind. There's a white box on the back of the dial that the speedo cable plugs into. Took that appart and found a metal wheel inside! has that got anything to do with it?
