Default front drop links on a classic!

Hi guys i changed my rear arb and links today for whitline goodys! but when i came to do the front drop links they dont seem to want to come off!

any suggestions?

the bolt just keeps turning!

if you look at the back of the drop link there is 2 flat sides for a spanner to fit on to stop the thread from turning when you slacken the nut.look at your new ones to see it just infront of the rubber cover.

thanks mate , i managed to get the bottem bolt out but the top one just keeps turning. theres 4 little metal circles on the wheel side of it? do i need to take the rubber cover off?

you dont need to remove the rubber.al have a look at mine 2moro and then al let u no how to get of.

a just had a quick look at mine and on the side where the rubber sleave is there are two flat sides for u t o get a spanner in.yours probably have been replaced before so if they dont have this get a set ot long nose mole grips in and clamp the shaft just infront of the rubber.hold the grips whilst you turn the nut.give the thread a wire brush and wd40 so that it comes off that bit easier.hope this helps

iff you look at the ends off the droplinks there is a small allen keys hole (at the top where the bolt goes) hold it with the allen key and ues the spanner for the nutt..



or just crush the old bush with mole grips . that will hold it in place then just undo the nutt

one more question when i compared the new ones the the standerd ones they seem a bit shorter? is this right?
