Default advice please

i have a my 99 turbo ppp, lately i have noticed a very slight judder/ splutter/miss fire?from the engine when i drive it this is most noticeable at about 2-3000 rpm,the boost is kicking in at 3500 ish as normal but this also seem a little flat.
has anyone had a simular problem and could give me a few ideas where to start looking for the problem.
thanks

being a 99 with the maf sensor often failing.. I would suggest you reset the ecu and see how it runs.. if it runs worse then replace the maf sensor..

reset procedure is here

update- just reset the ecu as described on simons excellent website,no faults to report, the slight judder thing is still there but the car is now flying when on boost,i was thinking could it just something simple like a bit of damp as the car is not used daily and at this time of year problems like that can happen.
any more suggestions gratefully recieved.
