boost controller/boost creep
im currently running a 1995 wrx wagon the modifications are as follows:
tdo5 turbo
arc induction box
colder grade plugs
twin pipe de cat pipe
hks exhaust system
chipped to run 1.2 bar on the tdo5
new coil packs
my problem is it is now over boosting due to the colder conditions of winter making the boost cut come in.so i am now looking at boost controllers to stop the over boosting what i wanted to know was what boost controllers people have used and what people recomend to have and to stay away from.
im currently looking at the apexi avcr, greddy profec e01,blitz sbc id 3 spec r
absouletly any help would be appreciated.....
also when fitted did u feel the boost came in quicker nd smoother as they say it will or? also will this stop the over boosting or?
thankyou for any help chris

Can't you get your mapper to tweak the map or is it a postal map?
The AVCR is highly reccommended when setup correctly

I have the same problem as you, annoying isnt it?
i think im going for an apexi power fc 800 fitted and mapped from jollygreenmonster!
This will allow much cheaper remapping as i go further up the mod ladder!
Scooby clinic can remap a bit cheaper!
IMO a remap is the only way to go cos all cars respond slightly differently!
I learned this after i joined scoobynet, but i had already modded
