Back with a new(er) car
Hi all,
This is my second go at 'scoobying' and it's a big leap of faith! I've given up the company Jag' and decided to run my own car. On paper, it makes financial senseand mostly allows me to drive what I want!
So last time (2005) it was a modded 94 WRX import with 300bhp and this time a 2006 WRX 2.5 with full Sti body kit (at least it'll look quick). This'll be my everyday driver / fun / business vehicle covering about 20k miles a year.
I bought the car yesterday and then drove 100+ plus miles back to Gatwick. Looking around the car there's 'cupping' on the outer edge of the nsf tyre and a slight left bias to the steering. I can't see any damage to the car or wheels so have put it down to alignment which i'll have done tomorrow.
Apart from that and the gearstick jiggling about in synchro with the road surface (is that ok?) It all seems pretty fantastic.
Any advice for running higher mileages would be great.
happy New year to all....
Jon
