Default Fuel Filter

Hi all
Is there a procedure for replacing the fuel filter it's just if i remove the 2 rubber hoses on top of it will fuel spray everywhere?

It will if you haven't long driven it, best to leave it overnight. By the way I have a fuel filter if you need one I never fitted it due to my car being stolen.

make sure you release pressure in the tank by removing filler cap.

Thanks for the replies so if i remove the fuel filler cap to release the pressure and then remove the rubber hose unions on the filter there should be no fuel leakage?

You will still get some leak out. Just make sure you have some rags at the ready.

you will always get the fuel running out of the pipe you wish to disconnect but you want to minimise the pressure so that the fuel only dribbles out.
