panel filter or induction kit??

Thumbs up panel filter or induction kit??

is a panel filter better or a induction kit better for my sti v4 can any one tell me???? thanks jamie.

AFAIK, it depends on the power of the engine. If I remember right a panel filter is good for at least 350bhp...

Stick with a good panel filter and yes they are fine up to 350bhp! Classics like yours and mine, will be more than happy with any of the decent items on the market. I have a KN in mine, although a few people recommend that you use a dry filter, green etc. My KN has not caused me any problems and that's on the notoriously weak MY99 MAF! Happy New Year to you

Stick to a good panel filter and the standard airbox unless you are after over 350 or want to fit a front mounted intercooler....

cheers for the reply's . i have fitted an original sti panel filter in the car but just wanted to hear what other people thought was best for performance so thanks jamie.
