Default Hitting Fuel cut

Im hitting fuel cut but not all the time. If i floor the car (auto) it revs high and screms off no problems. But if I go to overtake on the motorway and gently push on the throttle the car doesn't change gear, the revs build up and it hits fuel cut.

Mods so far are

Scott T - Chip
97/98 intercooler
Dump valve blanked off

This is on an auto TD04 wagon 94/95.

Im going to buy a boost gauge and manual boost controler, like this
POWERTEK BOOST CONTROLLER /PSi GAUGE KIT ANY TURBO CAR on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-Dec-07 17:23:36 GMT)
Would that help me wind in the boost a little to top it hitting cut?

Cheers

Similar issue in the thread above.

The reason you are seeing this in higher gears is that there is more load on the engine hence boost is raising more easily. This is more evident in the cooler weather we have been experiencing (colder air, denser charge blah blah blah)

Check the brass restrictor is still in the boost control circuit
Solenoid Plumbing

OR

Take a turn or 2 off the actuator (if yours is adjustable, as some are, some are not)
If you can't adjust actuator then fit a smaller restrictor in the boost solenoid circuit i.e drop from 2mm to 1.5mm.

P.S Intercooler would of made a difference as have seen this cause approx 1psi of extra boost in the higher gears. But it can be controlled by doing the above.
It depends how well the actuator is working on the standard car.
