just fitted scooby ecu and getting max 0.9bar boost?
Hi there im a newbie on here but not really a scooby newbie as this is my second scooby, i have a 93 wrx ra and have been having problems with my uppipe blowing, also have a standard exhaust system need to get rid of asap, lol.before i fitted my scooby ecu i was getting max boost 0.6-0.7 bar now its fitted im hitting 0.9 bar but should be 1.2. Is this because of a blowing uppipe and standard exhaust system?i have to say though i still noticed the difference , so much smoother and spools up a lot quicker.
any help on this would be great

sounds like your boost gauge may be under reading, iirc 0.6 bar is low for standard boost. My sti2 ran 0.9 bar standard and now 1.35 bar with scoob ecu....
Also as the above says, fix any exhaust probs first before modding.

RA should run 0.8bar if 1993-1994 or 0.87bar if 1994-1996 as standard.
fix the up-pipe. if that don't fix it then clean out all the boost hoses.
there are 2 ways to get the up pipe out. the long way is turbo off and get up-pipe out from the top.
the other is to remove and engine mount and jack engine up slightly to get it out from the bottom.
it's not s nice job either way due to the potential to knacker the studs/nuts.
