Default SPARK PLUG PROBLEM

The car had PFR6B NGK SPARK PLUGS, changed them to PFR7B NGK SPARK PLUGS. The car developed a flat spot between 4000rpm to 5000rpm. So I put on a new maf, 4 new coil packs, problem still there.
Double checked the gap on the PFR7B, 0.7 on all four, car still had the flat spot, so put back in new PFR6B, problem goes away.

Do some scoobies just dont like the PFR7B ? or is my 'mines ecu' being a bitch with the PFR7B plugs

{mines ecu is getting replaced with an ESL on the 19th}
