changing lambda sensor
Evening,
I know where the lambda is, what I need to find out is which way it unscrews (MY2000 UK classic). I am pretty sure that it hasn't been changed so it will probably be pretty stubborn. If I am looking at it from the front of the car do I push the spanner towards the bulkhead or pull it towards me, if you follow my drift?
Hopefully this will give better fuel economy, it is approx. 40 miles per tank down on my last classic (MY97). It has the AE800 ECU as well.
Thanks
Nick

It's a standard right hand thread so it unscrews anti-clockwise.
I wouldn't bother changing it though if you have no CEL lights, they have a habit of damaging the threads in the collector when winding them out especially when they have been in a while...

LOL depends which side your spanner is already i.e. pointing towards offside or nearside. Suffice to say, it's a standard thread, and undoes anti-clockwise.
