Default Loudest backbox

Hey guys ive got a prodrive rear box on my00 classic uk turbo, and altho i love the sound i want it louder. I adore the flat 4 soundtrack and was wondering which is the loudest backbox going? the scoobyworld afterburner maybe?? Also would it maybe be a better idea if i just got a straight thru centre pipe?? cheers guys! brodz

Just take the exhaust off altogether - that'll be pretty loud !

Blitz Nur Spec is darned good if you want to act as an alarm clock for you neighbours.

I'm fitting a 5zigen fireball centre section and backbox tomorrow to replace my magnex. I'm expecting a significant increase in anti social noise - can't wait!

The fireball is supposed to be up there with the noisiest of them all but I'll let you know.

Apprently the Richard Clarke Motorsport exhaust is the loudest.

Full decat system will set you back about £750 excluding fittig, but if you saw a picture of the rear section you'd think it was a piece of scaffolding!

Any of the above, especially decatted will get you an ASBO.

The exhaust on my Classic STI is a APEXI make. Was on car when I brought it. But the first scooby I test drove was vey loud indeed.

Currently fitted:

Blitz headers
Blitz Decat down pipe
Blitz straight through centre section mated to an Blitz Nur Spec R

Very deep and bassy at low rev's, when you open up the car it it sounds like a fire breathing dragon! Big difference when you put the bung in but still a bit too crackley and loud for my liking so will be changing over for a quieter system in the new year

I've only heard one Blitz Nur Spec-R system, but I'm not sure what piping it had and it was really loud! I just had a HKS Hyper Dragger 3.5" system fitted to my 96 Version 3 and that's really loud, makes a fantastic soud! I'll add a short clip if you like...?

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Maybe try the 3" afterburner, that should be even deeper. dugga-dugga

Had my 5zigen fireball fitted today and can confirm it's very noisy indeed. Really comes on song when the go faster pedal is pressed.

A truely awesome sound.
