Default plsss help needed with my wrx

Hi every one i have a wrx import it use to be a auto but was changes to manual i have not had the car long after a day driving the car around it stared to feel like the car was missing on boost it had a z4 ecu but i change it back to the stander one thinking it could be that but now it feel so slow and still misses now and again pls pls pls pls the car is a p reg and only do 85 k i have tried to turn the boost up buy adding a boost valve but it gets worse iv change the plugs and leads but this has not helped was told these a wire on the ecu that need to be cut as the car still thinks its a auto . cheers Tim

coil packs, or just a boost leak, or clean out the boost solenoid next to the air filter.

car of that age doesnt have leads so what did you change?

coilpacks as suggested already

i change the plugs how do i clean the boost solenoid and what is a MAF

when were the coilpacks last changed?

changed... not cleaned.. 99% of misfire on boost on an early car is down to coilpack problems they last arounf 4~5years or 80~100k miles

down the side of your engine two on each side just like mine were have fun changing them coz they a bitccccch to get to guna wat leads you say youve changed eithers

you have to remove them to change the plugs

lol he's changed plugs and leads and doesn't understand that it does have coil pack and not leads .so i would surrgest ya go back to your engine bay and look again .and once ya seen that there is no leads then look and see that the plugs havent been changed as ya would know where and what a coil pack is .

maf is in the black tubing after the air filter box .

and the boost solenoid i would leave alone for now as ya seem a little confused at the moment

iv sorted it lad nice one it was the coil packs one of them had a crack so sorted it
