Default MY96 MAFF HELP

Can you use a 95 maff sensor on a 96/97 or a 94 on a 97 etc etc. Are import maffs different to uk? They have different part numbers but look the same. Need a maff sensor for a my96 uk.
Thanks in advance

they rarely fail.. I would be inclined to get one from a breakers.. the 99 and 00 are the only really weak ones.
