My96 5dr Tonneau spring has broken & so I now have a flappy cover

Cost to replace from Subaru £100+

Anybody had experience of fixing these, is it possible ?

I can't even work out how to get into the thing!

If it can't be fixed can anybody recommend a place where I can get a new one cheap.

Cheers

Chris

chris,
had the same problem myself, pulled the thing too hard.

As for repairing it, good luck, it's like trying to pick up a sleeping cat

I got a replacement from the place that services my car (independant garage as it's a jap import) for about 20 quid.

guess you could put a post on the 'wanted' section. Or try Grade A Subaru, who are scooby breakers, don't have the number but someone here should have.
