As Mike said, turbo is TD04, centre cat removed from this model, and uprated intercooling pipework, was all part of the PPP upgrade.

 

STI Ecu running td04 turbo??

thought min it would be VF28

 

In the MY99/00 TD04 was fitted in the UK model, the STI ECU was re-programmed by prodrive, and offered as part of the upgrade package, for the standard UK model.

 

so putting vf28 would go bang maybe.
