Default would a lighter flywheel cause more knock?

I gave my car a bit of fun on high boost this evening, and it feels soooo fast, but its prob because i have been driving on low boost for the last 500 miles!! as i wanted to give my new ap racing clutch a good beading in.

but anyway, i have noticed that knock is higher on the power fc, it has hit 25 twice now, where it normally is around 13 ish this was happening manily in 4th gear at the higher reves, the lower gears seamed ok. (was on privert bit of road )

is thes because of the flywheel, making the engine rev up faster, or could it just be the colder weather.

i dont normally drive it that hard in the higher gears, manly 2nd and 3rd, but wanted to give it a good testing.

any ideas?

p.s it is a version 6 sti, and the flywheel is around 4.3-4.5kg
