Boost controller fitted
As above i have fitted a boost controller a manual one to my02 wrx
The difference is amazing.. although can be played with to the extent that the engine will go pop..
Its currently peaking at 1.3 bar and holding at 1.2bar which knowlesey from xtreme scoobies says is ok for my year of car..
If anyone who cannot afford a re- map i would reccommend one of these for intermediate fun.. But not for long term useage..
As i stated its so tempting to wind it up a bit more and more.. but it will all end in disaster.. so dont do it...lol
Well simple diagnosis and well chuffed.. now to start saving for this re map

Kwowlsey fitted one for me a while back on an STi. It was hidden under the drivers side carpet in the footwell to reduce temptation to tinker. I agree with you though - a great bang for bucks Kick up the backside!
