Default Facelift a phase 1 WRX

Hi guys, as per a thread I have on styling at the moment, my car is in a sorry state after an accident. I am looking to get it facelifted as a part of the repair but could do with knowing about the method used to cool the turbo when it's done.

My WRX has a duct which couples up to the bonnet scoop for cooling which when looking under a later facelift model, wasn't there. How do I convert the cooling for the phase 1 turbo to suite a facelift bonnet?

I noticed that the turbo on the facelift has a heatsheild, is it just a case of fitting one of those in place of the duct?

Also, the intercooler in mine is the slanty type and wont marry up to the facelift scoop. Is there a way round this?

Please help...i'm confused

Thanks JGM, do you know about the intercooler bit too? Is there a way round getting the facelift bonnet to marry up to the slanty intercooler?
