SHELL V POWER
I have heard alot on this fuel,
I use it nearly all the time & did in my old wrx.
My gut feeling that it is worth it and should be used if you obey subaru,s instructions.
What do you guys use & why etc etc.

i always used v-power and as the price gradually kept creeping up and up i started to feel i was paying for something i didnt need (uk model) so then i changed to tesco 99 because it was near enough same price as 97 ron. since tesco stopped 99 for a couple of weeks near me i started using normal esso sul.
but last week i put £20 of v power in and i am converted again, mpg seems better and car feels a little bit more responsive and smoother.

One thing to note is that although V-Power and Tesco 99 have the same RON rating they are far from the same fuel. They are different beasts in terms of what's in there chemically.
Various magazines/tv programmes have compared them for power/economy with a range of vehicles, with different conclusions every time as far as I can tell.
Google for results.
I'd take all these surveys with a pinch of salt, you never know how "scientific" they are or what politics are in play.
Never had any problems with V-Power + CVL
