Default Problem with APEXI COMMANDER

this has happened a few times now, and i have just got on with it, but it has been like it for around 2 days now, where as before it uses to come and go with no pattern.

the problem i get is the display fades in and out, so where you have all the display in black with the green back lit display, the black fades out so you cant see it.

some times it fads a few shades darker, then returns to normal, sometimes it goes so you cant see it at all.

i have tried replugging it back into the ecu, all the pins are stright and the connection feels good, earths good etc

soooooo what esle can i try

thanks
ian

They do this with heat as mine goes dark in the summer when it's exposed to high temps in the cabin.
It's not something simple like you have the heater on and it's blowing direct at the controller is it ????

when i went out the other day, it was fine. and it may be ok for a week or so, then out of the blue it plays up, i can not see any pattern in it at all, all random.
