Default Lumpy Ride When Turbo Kicks In

When the turbo kicks in (about 2500 rpm) the ride starts to get 'lumpy'. It doesn't pull smoothly like I think it should.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem or know what it could be?

Subaru main dealer think it could be airflow sensor or solenoid?!

Cleaning the booast solenoid has been covered on here a good many times ,maybe worth doing a search for it.
Same for testing the MAF, been covered on here quite a few times

thanks mate. Found them.

How do I locate the solenoid? I don't know where it is! Also, how do I clean it?

May look different on your car (this is from a 93wrx) but location is the same (driver side suspension turret)

Ok, subaru fixed it. it was a faulty air intake sensor (near the air filter). It feels like a new car now
