Default STI 'Pink' Showa Suspension

Would the above be better than STI Type R shocks and springs (the red shocks with black springs)

yeah, the setup is quite stiff, but better than when i had coilovers !

but the missus hates it, her jubblies bounce about causing her grief !

but i thought the pink shock/spring was standard on STI classics ?????

cheers

They are called pink, but are really red.

Have decided to use the STI Type R shocks that i have had in the garage for ages with Tein S Tech springs. Will be firm, but not as harsh as coilovers (i hope)

If they look like the ones at the top of this thread they must be the STI Showa ones. Quite rare, but very good.

Haven't fitted my red ones yet, but when i checked the part number with my local Subaru dearler they are the same number as the P1 shocks, which most people say are the best one for Britich roads.

Does the type-r have red shocks and black springs as standard?
And are they adjustable?
