Hadn't started the car for 10+ days and the battery was completely flat. (again!)

Managed to get it started off the vRS after a while, but now the car is running very badly.

It is cutting out when coasting (loss of P/S).

Idle is much lower, even bouncing off 0 RPM & hunting.

Boost is all over the place - at peak, the needle is bouncing, whereas it was steady before. Defi's are buzzing, don't know if overboosting.

Hesitation thru rev range under higher boost.

Have tried both high & low boost settings, with same problems.

Any ideas??

Is the map lost or affected when the battery dies?? (That is my only thought...)

 

Can you manually adjust the idle?

 

on the early cars you can, the ones with the throttle cable that is
