any one got any ideas as to what it can be

actuator?

How much boost you lost? Any other symptoms?

 

all pipes are on and cant see no holes what you mean by actuator not got a gauge but it has no boost or very little

 

The actuator is the cylindrical thing on the side of the turbo with a rod sticking out that goes to the wastegate arm... Check that is not come off the waste gate and that the rod cant be pushed in an out easilly.
