Hi guys, looking at buying my first impreza after 4 years driving fast BMW's but not to sure what to look for. I know i'm looking for a 2003 to 2004 plate car but a bit confused as to what to go for! Know about the PPP kit but have also heard about JDM spec cars but have no idea what there they are, lol!

Will be looking to upgrade the power of the car to between 350 and 400 bhp of the car which by looking into other posts here doesn't seem to be too hard.

What i'm really looking for though is advice on any problems to look for when buying the car in the first place? Does the impreza have any weak points in the engine or drivetrain and does or is there a buyers guide I have missed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
