Thumbs up Hi and help :)

Firstly i would like to say hello to everyone on this amazing forum.

Now let's get down to it.

I recently purchased a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec-C with the prodrive kit.

Now im very concerned about something. When the car is turned off i get a F reading on the dipstick.

Now i assume this means full so its perfectly fine yes ?

Ok now the thing i am worried about when the car is running (turned on) i get no reading on the dipstick at all just a very slight mark at the bottom ???

When i turn it off and let it settle the reading is back at F.

What is the meaning of this is there a problem or a fault or is this perfectly normal ?

Any assistance with this question would be very welcome.

Regard's
Lee

Well i learn fast.

And yes it was not a windup . Just off to make myself a cone shaped hat from a peice of paper.

Back in 2 minute's just looking for a black marker pen to write a big fat D on it.

Thank's for not tearing me to peice's guy's.

What 'prodrive kit' have you got on a spec C as they certainly don't do a PPP for imports....

Fist of all hello rookie how you doing mate.

Well the guy i got it from said it was a spec-c due to the Aluminium roof, bonnet, Boot, Bumper and apoiler ect.

It also has the I.C water spray button below the steering wheel on the right and the reservoir is in the boot on the rear right as you look in.

Now i am very un aware about what make's a certain Subaru a certain specification.

But when i saw the car i fell in love with it and no matter what title it has it's the right car for me.
