Default has anyone tried this with the airbox ??

just browseing our friends over the pond website,and found an interesting read regarding disposing of the airbox silencer/delete.......

Has anyone over here tried this out,or ran a direct tube feed from a foglight hole to the standard airbox ????

I have done this on mine mark,and damo has done it to his lower bumper wedje!!

Definatly worth doing imo,it costs very little and it helps get loads more cold air into the airbox or induction kit in my case,just make sure you use a quality cold feed ducting pipe,dont use the cheap tin foil type found at halfords,damo learned this the hard way as they close up ,i used the pipercross one do a search on ebay,or try autoperformancesiliconeonline they have an ebay shop and thats where i get all my pipes and stuff from!!
